Personally, this year has been…

A year of amazing achievement & a year of heartbreak. A year of amazing highs & traumatic lows. A year of fun & laughter and a year of tears & grief.
A year of peace & a year of stress.

A year that at times felt like it was never going to end, yet a year with no regrets!

You see, life is full of highs & lows, we can’t have one without the other.

We all strive for a mountain top experience, where life is grand and all is as it should be.
But to get to the top of the mountain where the views are breathtaking and the sense of achievement is overwhelming, we first have to walk through dark valleys just to get to the bottom of the mountain.
Then we have to climb the mountain to experience the joy of standing at the top. Yet, the journey up the mountain is hard, dangerous and consumes a lot of energy. Sadly some will not make it for reasons that are perhaps outside their control. While others grit their teeth, using their pain or disappointment to overcome the many obstacles in their way.
Then…they stand victorious on top of their mountains.

We can’t escape the lows in life, we need them to help us achieve the highs.

So as we say goodbye to 2019, I’m thankful for every experience – the good & the bad.
I’m stronger, I’m braver and I’m more confident.

I enter this New Year fully aware and prepared for the next round of valley of lows & mountaintop highs.
It’s true that in this life we will have trials, but we also have hope to get us through.
So I’m stepping into 2020 with strength, dignity, confidence & HOPE for all that is ahead.
I pray that you are able to step into 2020 thankful for what has now passed and hopeful for what is to come.

With love
Natt xx
